Vintage amethyst ring, 14k white, rose and yellow gold filigree

14k gold ring with a 4.50ct amethyst.  The ring is 14k white gold filigree with rose and yellow gold flowers on the side.  It measures 5/8" long, it's a size 6 and can be sized.  Excellent condition, circa 1920.

It was believed by the Ancient Greeks that when worn the amethyst crystal can ward off drunkenness.  After many experiments done by me, I have found that this is in fact, not true.  Maybe you will have different results!
